Cherry Valley Golf & Games

Rockford, Illinois, USA

1991 to 2006

Opened in 1991 by Al and Nancy Meyer. The park won numerous awards in the Rockford Register Star's annual "Best of Rockford" competition, including Best Place for a First Date (1997 and 1998), and Best Place for a Kid's Birthday Party (2000).

In 2001 the park was sold to Ron Leek, Sunil Puri and Ray Brien because the Meyer's wanted to retire. At that time the park included outdoor baseball-batting cages, bumper boats, an indoor arcade and children's party room, in addition to the one-acre 18-hole miniature golf course.

In 2006 a Molina kiddie coaster was erected on the site, but never opened. The park also closed.
